Privacy Policy
K-Wave Collective Inc. ("Company," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal data when you use our official online store, notices, and account services. If you do not agree, you should not use the parts of the Service that require the relevant processing, though some processing is necessary to fulfill your order and comply with the law.
1. What we collect
We may collect: account and sign-in (email, password hash), name, phone, shipping and billing address (including country/region), order history, and payment-relevant data mainly as tokens or status from the payment service provider, not your full card on our systems where avoidable. For international shipping, we also process customs-related names and contact details. Optional data may include marketing preferences, date of birth, and interests where you opt in. Technical data such as IP address, device/browser, cookies, and site usage may be collected automatically.
2. How we use data
We use data to: process and deliver orders, prevent fraud, provide customer support, send transactional messages (order status, security, legal), improve the Service, run analytics in aggregated form, and with your consent, marketing. We also retain records as required for tax, accounting, and e-commerce regulations.
3. Retention and deletion
We keep data for as long as your account is active and as needed to fulfill the purposes above, and longer if the law requires (for example, transaction and tax records for several years in line with local rules). We delete or de-identify data when it is no longer needed, using secure methods.
4. Sharing and processors
We do not sell your personal data. We share it with service providers (payment, logistics, email/SMS, cloud hosting, customer tools) who process it on our instructions under contract. We may also disclose data if the law, court order, or a lawful request by authorities requires it.
5. International transfers
If you order to an address outside Korea or our systems or logistics partners are located in other countries, your data may be transferred to those countries. We put in place appropriate safeguards (such as contracts with standard terms where available) and describe this at checkout or in notices when relevant.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar tools for sign-in, preferences (including language), security, and analytics. You can control cookies in your browser; blocking some may limit features. We may add or change analytics tools and will update this section or a cookie notice as needed.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, or to object to certain processing, and to withdraw marketing consent. Contact us at help@k-wave.co.kr to exercise your rights. You may also complain to a data protection authority in your country, where that applies.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 14 (or the age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have, contact us to delete it.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including access controls, encryption in transit, and training. No online service is 100% secure, so use a strong, unique password and do not share your account.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The "last updated" date at the top will change, and for material changes we will provide additional notice (for example, by email or site banner) as required by law. Continued use after the effective date may mean you accept the update where permitted.
